About Dr. Badgley

Dr. Laurence Badgley, MD, is a California based physician who provides medical examinations and counseling services to patients with chronic pain and other conditions alleviated by cannabis.

A graduate of Yale University School of Medicine (class of 1968), Dr. Badgley is an internationally recognized expert in his field, with 50 years experience in the study and practice of natural therapies such as acupuncture and homeopathy to treat chronic pain and other conditions.

Early in his medical career in the 1970s, just after med school and the Army, Dr. Badgley was hired by the lawyers and tour managers of the Rolling Stones and Led Zepplin to be the tour physician. Far from being a “Dr. Feelgood”, his job was to travel with the bands and keep the high flying and hard partying rock stars healthy and fit to perform. Even early in his career, Dr. Badgley’s medicine bag included vitamins and other natural complements to modern healthcare.

The author of several books on chronic conditions and alternative therapies, the Doctor continues to research, write, and publish. His work can be found online at HealthTap, Quora, and academic research sites.

A licensed rural physician based in Eureka, Calif., Dr Badgley maintains offices in Berkeley, Hayfork, Willits, and Redding. A licensed rural physician, Dr. Badgley makes ranch calls by appointment throughout Humboldt, Trinity, Mendocino, Siskiyou and Shasta counties.
